Set in the heart of Sherwood Forest, this magnificent Victorian Grade 1 listed Hall and gardens have been lovingly restored to their former glory and have now been transformed into a glorious historic country hotel. Our state rooms, which include the Great Hall and Library, retain many of the original features.  We have 221 ensuite bedrooms, three restaurants, a purpose built auditorium, bars, swimming pool and a luxurious Spa offering a chance to relax in style.

Our accommodation includes modern, purpose-built ensuite Ambassador Rooms; stunningly designed Signature Rooms; and our luxurious four-poster Royale Rooms situated in the original Hall. Two of these rooms also feature Jacuzzi bathrooms.

We offer three beautiful, unique rooms in the original Thoresby Hall.  The stunning Blue Room, originally the Drawing Room, takes its name from the beautiful blue silk damask walls.  The magnificent ceiling, with its chandeliers, and the beautiful views of the landscaped gardens and fountain make this a memorable room for any event. The Edwinstowe Room, with panelling and an ornate fireplace, offers beautiful views over the gardens and croquet lawn whilst the Perlethorpe Room features a fine moulded ceiling and fireplace, and a door with direct access into the grounds.

Thoresby Hall Hotel is an ideal venue, offering modern facilities in an historic setting, catering for all types of conferences and events.  Our day delegate price includes room hire, tea or coffee, and a choice of working buffet lunches.  We can work with your company to tailor our packages to meet your individual requirements from breakfast meetings, team building activities to gala dinners.  Our function rooms cater for 6 to 98 people. Combine this with a stay in our hotel to enjoy all of our facilities and entertainment. For larger groups enquire about sole use of the hotel.

We are licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Partnerships, with access for you and your guests through the main entrance of the original Thoresby Hall.  Rooms are also available for day and evening receptions for up to 94 people. The Riding Hall, adjacent to the hotel, is available for evening receptions for up to 200 people.  Our inclusive packages range from the Simply Thoresby Package, for the more budget conscious bride, to the Ultimate Wedding Package. All our options offer a truly extra special wedding celebration that will leave you and your guests talking about it for years.  There is even the possibility of a helicopter landing in Thoresby Park adjacent to the hotel.  With years of experience, our dedicated Wedding Team will make sure your big day is one to enjoy and remember.

Our rooms are also available for private functions, dinners and celebrations. We offer afternoon tea to a waitress served evening meal, and create the perfect menu to suit your occasion, tastes and budget.
