The SECC is superbly located; just a few minutes from the heart of Glasgow, Scotland’s biggest and most exciting city. Some of the world’s most spectacular scenery is on the doorstep and close by is the country’s capital, Edinburgh; where history, architecture and attractions abound.
Getting here couldn’t be easier, Glasgow International Airport, with direct connections to the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East, is just 15 minutes away. The city’s second airport, Glasgow Prestwick, is within 45 minutes travel, as is Edinburgh International Airport and its extensive national and international connections.
Our dedicated railway station links with the city’s main station, Glasgow Central, providing access to the recently upgraded west coast line and the rest of the UK. And we’re just two minutes from the national motorway network, connecting with every major city in the country.

The SECC provides flexible, purpose-built conference and exhibition space. Our conference facilities are led by the iconic Clyde Auditorium and the adaptable Loch Suite. Along with our five interconnected exhibitions halls, we can accommodate gatherings ranging from 10 people to 10,000 and even beyond.

When it comes to catering there are extensive in-house and on-site facilities including a range of restaurants and bars. We can also develop a bespoke menu to suit your delegates and budget.
Accommodation on site includes four-star, three-star and budget hotels. And, as you’d expect in a city that attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year, Glasgow offers a wide range of high quality hotels and guest houses. There are over 6,000 hotel bedrooms within two miles of the SECC, over 2,500 are in four or five star categories.
