This is why MX Telecom works with Capita to carry two-way SMS for the London Congestion Charging Scheme, has and continues to work with the BBC on a variety of projects and manages outsourced wireless services for the UK mobile networks.
Additionally, MX Telecom has provided Premium SMS for a number of charities, including NSPCC and Comic Relief, as well as a number of smaller scale campaigns.
Finally, MX Telecom has extensive experience in the private sector, supplying technical solutions to over 400 companies including broadcasters, mobile content providers and marketing and media agencies.
What we offer
Outbound SMS
MX Telecom’s SMS Gateway connects directly to the UK mobile network operators to send out text messages rapidly and securely. While most traffic is carried over the internet, MX Telecom also provides hosted applications for enterprises that wish to outsource development of technology.
Inbound SMS
SMS can be received in the UK on 5 digit short codes and 11 digit virtual mobile numbers. MX Telecom can treat these inbound messages in a number of ways, such as forwarding them over the internet by HTTP or email, sending back autoresponses, or simply just storing the messages in a hosted web application to later be downloaded or viewed.
CRM tools
For organisations that wish to use SMS as a communications tool or to help manage and build relationships with their customers, MX Telecom can provide a mobile CRM platform that allows sending and receiving of SMS, keeps track of mobile numbers, allows notes and information to be entered for a particular user and provides statistics. Scheduled and automated functions can be set up and images, audio and video can also be sent or received to or from a mobile phone.
Hosted Voice
MX Telecom also provides hosted voice and IVR solutions, allowing fixed line and mobile phone users to access/leave information via a national or premium rate number. Mobile users can also call a 5 digit voice short code. These can be totally customised depending on exact requirements.
