Amnesty International and Civica contract wins help launch Ashton Court into the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100
Contract wins with Amnesty International and Civica have helped IT consultancy Ashton Court to achieve a place in the 2004 Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100, published 3rd October.
The place demonstrates significant sales growth for Ashton Court over the last two years (2001 – 2003), in particular a 177% increase in sales revenue and contract wins with Royal and SunAlliance Property Services and the EMI Group. This business growth and subsequent Tech Track listing is testimony to Ashton Court’s success in the integration of business information solutions based on Microsoft’s .NET platform and commitment to the public sector, where it has specialised to date.
Greg Wishart, managing director of Ashton Court, comments:
“We are immensely proud to have achieved such substantial business growth in a sector which has been very much in the doldrums over the last few years. Our key strength lies in our ability to spot innovative, leading edge technology products which are cost effective, and exploit opportunities in the market where such products and propositions have a good fit.”
He continues:
“We have an aggressive business plan in place to ensure that this growth continues over the next two years and beyond. While the public sector remains a key area of focus, most immediately enabling local government organisations to comply with the new privacy laws which come into force in January 2005, we will also be extending our reach into the NHS and private sector with a range of new services.”
