The automotive industry is a key sector for our economy with more than 250 companies including around forty of the top 100 global leaders.

Ground breaking work is under way in Wales in the drive towards a lower carbon economy.

We are making an important contribution towards the creation of a green automotive industry and have a number of highly innovative products either on the market or under development, including low or zero carbon emission vehicles.

The development of new and innovative technologies and products will play an increasingly important role in the current economic climate.

At this event we shall be promoting the fact that the support of the Assembly Government, combined with the opportunity to collaborate on research projects with specialist departments in our universities, makes Wales an attractive choice for businesses.
