Vote now in National Lottery Awards
The National Lottery Awards are an annual search to find the UK’s favourite Lottery funded projects. They aim to celebrate and recognise the difference that those projects – both large and small – have made to people, places and communities all across the UK.

The Sport England funded projects short-listed for Best Sports Project are:
Fit@Sixty – Sport England East Region, which aims to encourage older people to participate in leisure activities to improve their health and sense of well-being. The project has benefited from £87,500 of National Lottery funding from Sport England.
Haldon Forest Park – Sport England South West region: The project has helped to transform a forest on the outskirts of Exeter into a hugely popular activity hub.
Haldon Forest Park has benefited from £800,000 of National Lottery funding thanks to Sport England and the Big Lottery Fund.
Haltwhistle Swimming and Leisure Centre – Sport England North East region: National Lottery funding of £1,670,000 from Sport England has helped to construct an impressive new sports hall in Northumberland.
Ice Sheffield – Sport England Yorkshire region: This is a state-of-the-art ice sports facility, which is now recognised as one of the best in the country. The facility has received £12,924,000 of National Lottery funding from Sport England.
Norfolk Ski Club – Sport England East region: This is one of the premier ski and snowboard facilities in Britain thanks to £686,000 of National Lottery funding from Sport England.
SPORT 4 NRG – Sport England South East region: The project provides opportunities for young offenders, or those in danger of offending, to undertake physical activities. The project has received National Lottery funding of £155,000 from Sport England.
On the Road to Wellbeing – Sport England East region: Thanks to National Lottery funding of £202,472 from Sport England, this project provides an affordable gym and dance studio for people living in rural communities
Inclusive Fitness Initiative – All Sport England regions: The Initiative has changed the face of the leisure industry, by making facilities accessible to tens of thousands of disabled people, helping to secure an increase in the number of disabled people participating in leisure activities.
The Inclusive Fitness Initiative has received National Lottery of £6 million from Sport England.
